I know it has been a while since I have posted anything on here, but here is how our day went. We got up and was watching some tv before we got ready to leave, and the satellite went out, not that unusual. We went to the gun museum in Berryville and then went to Eureka Springs and spent the rest of the day there. When we got home the satellite still had not acquired a signal. I done what I could to fix it then called Dish. We went through and tried to fix it but to no avail. We set up a meeting so a tech could come out which will be Wen. morning, after that I decided to check all of the connections even outside. That is when I noticed it, someone stole the receiver part of the dish. I call Dish back and told them and they told me if that was the case that it could run about $114 to put a new one on. Thing about it is the neighbors also have dish and there satellite dish is right below ours, and to get to ours you would have to use a ladder, strange. So yes i am a little pissed off right now.

Well I finally got my answer at work as to when I would be getting that $1 more an hour for taking this position. I am not going to get it, cause I make to much already. They said that I make over the max for this position already, so I will not recieve that extra $1. I knew that they were going to find someway to screw me out of that. It is not that I am hurting for money, it is the princple of the thing. Other than that the week was fairly normal as always including my B-day.
Our oldest sprained her ankle last Sat. and has been on crutches all week, although she didn't want to the last couple of days. Next week she doesn't have to have the crutches, but still has to wear the air cast.

Well so far from what I am told that I am doing well in my new position. I have to go into work early Fri., from 1 to 9, cause the guy on day shift won't be there so I have to cover. The one good thing about that is that I will be able to hear my oldest on the radio again. She is dj'ing again on Matt's beer run. I am not sure if I will have to work this weekend or not yet. With the Chrysler strike going on we don't know yet how bad it is going to affect us. It will just depend on how long it will last.

This was the first week in my new position at work. So far it isn't bad it is just going to take some getting use to. I still have to get in a pattern yet to make it go faster and not so chaotic. One thing I have been missing is friends. I don't get to see or talk to anyone. The guys at work are ok, but the majority are mexican and the best you can hope for is broken english. Anymore when I talk to anyone I feel like I am pushing them, or intruding. I really don't like that feeling and I hate myself for being that way. It is just something I have to work on. As for the most part my life is pretty boring, just work and home. We did go looking for my oldest a homecoming dress yesterday. We got her a chinese top with a black skirt. She loves it.
Seeing all the bikes in town for Blues Bikes and BBQ was great and it makes me want one so bad, and living so close to Dickson st. you hear the rumbling all day and night. One day I will get one.

Well I have had a fairly busy week at work, but I did get a surprise yesterday. I was called into the office just as I was about to leave. The top dogs of the shop offered me a new poisition. It is somewhat a office job and teamleader. I will be getting a $1 more an hour. The only thing is it's on 2nd shift. I talked it out with the wife and kids and done a reading and everything is saying to take it, so I am.
As for this weekend I am going to have to miss my wife's company picnic cause I will be asleep. They have us working all weekend. I really don't like not having a day off.

This past weekend has been pretty much uneventfull. I didn't get a 3 day weekend like I was hoping for but it was nice. I did take the girls to the fair Sat. for a little while and we rode some rides. There was this one ride that I rode and it was something it is called the extreme. Shelly was hoping that I would loose my lunch on it, but as soon as it got started and she seen me smiling she knew that it wasn't going to happen. We went to Hasting's after that and got some movies and went home. I got Highlander: The Search for Vengeance. I know that it has been sometime since I have posted anything. We have had quite a lot going on the past few months. One of my uncle's had died, we had to move cause the landlord needed to sell the place. I am still on 3rd shift and my boss has been out for the last 3 weeks so I have been the one in charge for the most part. I also know why he has been out but cannot tell anyone, especially anyone at work. I just found out today that one of my cousin's is going to have heart surgery in the next few days.
I took my oldest to the Dartroom this last Fri. They had a deal for all ages. It was nice although the bands didn't start on time. We also went and done a little shopping yesterday and found some stuff for Halloween, and looked at some new computers. This thing is really getting out dated. One thing about it is in about 2 more years we are going to have to get a laptop for my oldest when she goes to college. Well I will cross that bridge when it comes.

Space has no inside or outside; the same is so of the reality of mind. If you comprehend space, this is arriving at the principle of reality as such.
This was the way of the ancient masters, but later descendants couldn't continure it. That is because it is easy to understand but hard to see.
To understand as soon as it's brought up is called conceiving interpretation according to words; it's also called edpendent penetration. It is also called parrot understanding. It is not personal realization and personal awakening. Therefore feelings of doubt do not stop.
Because they have no basis to rely on, and their habit-ridden consciousness is manic, people produce idiosyncratic views. They say, "I won't enter this deep pit of liberation," and "What end is there to running around in this spiritual realm? Why not seek a way out?" Or they say, "I have something transcendental within me," or "I have the road to penetrating liberation within me." When asked what the road to penetrating liberation is, some say, "Donkeys pick wet spots to piss," or "In spring the grass is deep green." Taking up the way of the ancient masters, instead they uphold verbal teachings as the ultimate model.
This is called slighting mind and esteeming doctrine, abandoning the root and pusuing the branches, like a dog chasing a clod. For a hundred and ten years now, everyones's been like this. Master Hsueh-feng said, "The grand masters have passed away, buried in the weeds by you people today."
If you manage to enter in by the way of the ancient masters, that will be like a hundred thousand suns and moons, liberating all sentient beings in the universe. If you enter into verbal teachings, that will be like the light of a firefly, and you won't even be able to save yourself. Why? Because it is still steril wisdom. Detach from literal knowledge and look into yourself.

Well as it looks right now I will be staying at home for New Years. My oldest is going to have a friend over and we will be watching tv.
